I have been painting for as long as I can remember, and only in the last decade do I feel like I am finally beginning to know and trust myself as an artist. Now, I see each new painting as another step in my journey towards finding and understanding myself as an artist, and as a person.
While I find my art practice to be deeply rewarding, I am equally as passionate about teaching art. I love introducing people to the joys of artistic expression and encouraging them to explore on their own. I've been teaching art to children, adults and older adults since 2003.
In addition to my art practice, I am a full-time childcare worker and am the director of an outdoor arts-based summer camp in downtown Toronto. I currently reside in Etobicoke, Ontario with my spouse and two cats.
